Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice, Director/Producer of ‘The Voice That Rocked America: The Dick Biondi Story’

I have been interviewed on radio and TV about my film. And now it’s your turn to interview me in a fun and heartfelt one-hour program that features a 30-minute screening of The Voice That Rocked America® followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.

I’d loved to come to your organization to lead a lively discussion about the early days of rock ‘n roll radio and treat your community to a prevue of my documentary about radio’s greatest DJ Dick Biondi. Why am I so passionate about Dick’s story? Because I was with him during his early days at WLS-AM when he was voted the most popular DJ in the nation.

I grew up listening to Dick Biondi on a transistor radio under my pillow, and later started a fan club for him. In 2014 Dick agreed to let me tell his story, and gave me a list of his friends to interview, including celebrated radio and television stars, and musicians Frankie Valli of The Four Seasons), Brian Wilson and Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, and Paul Shaffer of The Late Show with David Letterman.

Biondi was the original rebel deejay who was fired 25 times during his career. He introduced Elvis, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, The Beatles, and the Rolling Stones, and was beloved by radio audiences for over six generations. Go behind the scenes, hear the inside stories, and learn more about Top 40’s super star DJ Dick Biondi in his soon-to-be released documentary film. We just might tell some knock knock jokes and sing The Pizza Song, although no one could sing it like Dick. Please join me for a nostalgic, heartfelt 60-minute tribute to rock n’ roll radio legend Dick Biondi.
