May 21, 2023, Sunday afternoon at the Des Plaines Theatre was a big day for all of us who have been working so hard to bring this story to the world! It marked the very first public screening of my 9-year labor of love to the DJ who touched generations of music and radio lovers and touched the lives of ordinary folks like me. Kudos to Ron Onesti and Onesti Entertainment for hosting this grand day! To say the response was overwhelmingly positive is putting it mildly. To my grateful heart, the film is receiving rave reviews! Thank you Carl Giammarese, Ronnie Rice, Ray Graffia Jr., 94.9 The River DJ Scott Mackay, and the StingRays for making this day so special!
